Yuliya Lomsky was born in Belarus and immigrated to the United States with her family when she was 3 years old. She was raised in Brooklyn, New York.
Yuliya attended Stony Brook University where she earned her bachelor’s degree Cum Laude in Political Science in 2013. Prior to attending law school, Yuliya worked for a medical malpractice firm for 2 years as a paralegal.
Mrs. Lomsky attended Brooklyn Law School earning her J.D. in 2018 while simultaneously working at a personal injury and civil rights firm as a law clerk during her last year of law school. While at Brooklyn Law School, she held many leadership roles including Secretary for the Legal Association of Women and President of Brooklyn Law School’s Alternative Spring Break where she organized a volunteer project with the Louisiana Civil Justice Center and led students in providing legal assistance to low-income individuals and worked directly with pro-se litigants in the Louisiana civil district court.
She was admitted to the New York Bar in January 2019 and immediately began her personal injury career as an associate for the law firm which she clerked for during law school. She spent a year as a litigation attorney in New York City working on cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, police brutality, false arrests and cases against the New York City Transit Authority and the City of New York.
Mrs. Lomsky was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in November 2019. She is a member of the Illinois and New York Bar Associations.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, learning how to cook new dishes, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
